Data360 Analyze has the ability to add custom JDBC drivers to connect to databases. The instructions below cover how to connect to HBase via Phoenix.
Downloading the Phoenix driver
- Download the Phoenix package from Phoenix Downloads
- Unpack the download
- Copy the driver. For example, in the Phoenix 5.0.0 download, the driver is
- Add the copied driver into a location that Analyze can access.
Make note of the driver location as it will be utilized within the next section.
Setting up an JDBC-based Analyze node
The example below will be the JDBC Query node; however, any JDBC-based node will work for this connection.
