In this article you you will be able to check your current version of ACR installed. At this time, there is no way to see the succession of patches or history of patches applied. This is a feature that may be coming soon.
Checking version via panels
If you have access to the ACR panels please navigate to the 'Help' tab. Once there please choose option 'About ACR' option.
On the next screen, you should be able to see the current version you have installed in your current mainframe set up.
Checking version via JCL
There are some users that may not have access to the panels, or may not have said panels installed. You to can check the version number, but executing JCL labeled as the 'VERREL' Job.
Navigate to your installations PROCLIB and and locate the member called 'VERREL'.
When inside the member it will give you the JCL to submit and and view your current version level in the SYSOUT.
Once you have entered the SYSOUT report, you are able to display the current installed version of the ACR application.
Checking version via LOADLIB members
From ISPF, locate your ACR LOADLIB. Within the LOADLIB, there will be a member labeled U1#0000. If you browse this, paging over will display a product version number. This method is handy when verifying that the LOADLIB being utilized is correct. The example below shows the version as R90V3M00 (ACR 9.3).
