Insight 8.2 enhancements include:
Warning pop-up message for Auto-Assign Controls
Previously, when the user clicks System and System Options and then deselect the Auto-Assign Controls check box option, the following pop-up message appeared:
Any controls that are queued when you turn off auto-assignment will not be assigned. To assign controls currently in the queue, cancel this action and click "Start Auto-Assignment." Then, uncheck Auto-Assign Controls and click Save.
The options available were Yes and No.
This message was confusing and hence has been modified to:
Click OK to turn off the automatic assignment of controls to control groups. Any controls that are queued when you click OK will not be automatically assigned to control groups.
Click Cancel to continue automatically assigning controls in the queue to control groups.
The options are changed to OK and Cancel.
Out of Balance (OOB) Report section in ACR/Detail Control Report
The Out of Balance (OOB) Report section appears as a part of ACR/Detail Control Report. The OOB Report provides details of the key that fails in an ACR/Detail job when the tolerance is set at the key level. Job level tolerance can be set for a count or amount. The job level OOB amount is accumulated based on an item specified for the job level total. This enables the users to reject files with a large percentage of errors or files for which the error threshold has been exceeded.
Optionally view the alternate job ID or base job ID from an ACR job
Previously, Insight used to receive only the base job ID from ACR. Infogix Insight will be able to view the base job ID or alternate job ID from the Insight control views, display control execution, and run control, user, and freeform reports.
Scheduled Job for removing unused data from the Insight database
Previously, there was no job scheduled to remove the data that is unused from the database.
As an enhancement, a schedule job will execute every 24 hours to remove the unused data in the JOBSTATUSLOADSTART, JOBSTATUSLOADEND and CONTROLDEFCONTENT tables.

At the application level, system will now allow users to enter and store the platform ID upto 40 characters in the New Information Source screen.

A new enhancement will allow the user the ability to create control groups in Insight with Swedish alphabet characters.
User Report Count and Amount Data fields are right-justified
The Report Count and Amount Data fields are now right justified. Previously, both these fields were left justified and it was fixed for only User Reports with four columns.
Duplicate assignment rules cannot be created
If the user attempts to create or update an assignment rule that behaves the same way as an existing assignment rule, an enhancement has been made in the system to display a message indicating that the rule cannot be added.
Confirmation pop-up window when the user deletes or updates a control view
Previously, there was no confirmation message when the user deleted or updated a control view, which was used for creating control view component.
An enhancement has been made to display a pop-up message to allow the user to confirm the deletion or the updation of a control view.
Display total count
Previously, the user did not know the number of severity rules that existed. To streamline this experience, the total count of control severity rule excluding system rules is now displayed in the lower right corner of the table in System Options.
JavaMail version upgrade
When an SMTP server failed to respond, an Infogix thread would hang and prevent e-mail delivery.
The EmailGenerator now times out after 40 seconds if the SMTP server fails to respond.
WebSphere cluster clean script changes
The WebSphere clean script failed to remove JMS resources, when the JMS cluster was different from the application cluster.
The WebSphere clean script has been changed to accurately clean the JMS resources.
Millisecond Precision support for data captured using bulk loader
The capture and storage of Control data with sub-second information using the bulk loader utility resulted in loss of information.
The current release supports the use of sub-second information for date and time values during bulk loading. Control data is now captured and stored at a millisecond precision.
HornetQ Library Upgrade
HornetQ is an open source asynchronous messaging system.
The HornetQ library is upgraded to 2.2.24_EAP_GA to improve the JBoss® JMS reliability.
Standalone Database Migration
The standalone database migration script creates a compressed package containing the files required for the database upgrade.
The application server administrator must run the generate-standalone-upgrade script to create the standalone database upgrade package. The compressed zip file can be used by the database administrator to upgrade the database.
