This article covers importing and exporting controls in Assure.
Exporting Controls
1. On the controls page, there is an "Export" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the control list. Click that button.
2. In the window that pops up, click the "Add" button on the bottom.
3. In the new window that pops up, select the control entities you want to export.
4. The control entities you select will be displayed in the bottom pane (see screenshot below). Select those and click the "Finish" button.
5. If you see a pop up to save a file after selecting "Finish", save the file to your computer.
You have now successfully exported controls in Infogix Assure.
Importing Controls
1. On the controls page, there is an "Import" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the control list. Click that button.
2. In the window that pops up, click the "Browse" button. A window will pop up. Select the zip file (usually called "rules.zip"" that contains the controls you want to import and select it. The window will now look like the below screenshot.
3. Hit the "Open" button in the upper right-hand corner.
4. With the bottom pane populated, select the rules/layouts/controls you want to import and select "Finish" in the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
5. If you see this in the following pop up window, you have successfully imported controls in Infogix Assure.
