In this article, we'll go over how field accumulation works in ACR/Detail. For the purposes of this article, ACR/Workbench will be used to demonstrate.
NOTE: You must have an accumulation option selected for the Internal Item you're assigning values to to accumulate at all. These are "Sum values with the same key" and "Sum values with the same key; replace history".
In ACR/Detail, Internal Items are grouped by up to 5 keys. These keys separate Internal Items that are on different keys, making summing them impossible. See the example below:
Here, we set the Key to be the Department Number. There are multiple department numbers.
When we run the job, we can see the keys and their values.
If you want to accumulate every record in ACR/Detail, you need to make sure the key is the same for all records. In the following example, we've changed the key to be set to the literal "KEYNAME", which will make the key "KEYNAME" for all records.
When we run the job, all values will accumulate since we have them all under the same key.
