Execution Profiles
With Execution Profiles you can define execution settings that can be inherited by Data Views and
Analyses on the selected Environment.
This means that an administrator can create an execution profile with specific execution properties
for an environment. When you are creating or editing a data view or analysis in that environment
you can select the predefined execution profile to inherit its execution settings. You can also
choose to add your own execution properties for the data view or analysis, overriding the
properties from the execution profile.
HTML help for Data3Sixty DQ+
The Data3Sixty DQ+ help documentation has been migrated from PDF to HTML as part of this
release. When you select Help > Help from the header bar, the Help Content dialog that opens links to sections and topics within the new HTML help structure.
Dashboard pivot table display option
In the Dashboard Designer, an option has been added to the Pivot Table properties that you can
use to toggle whether column and row totals are displayed. To access the option, click Properties,
then select the Grid Styletab. Use the Show Grand Totals option to choose whether or not to
display totals for columns and rows.
Dashlet Title Box Color options
Use the Header Color tab to configure the background color of the header bar of elements
displayed on the dashboard.
The default value is #f5f5f5.
Dashboard Data Table cell text display options
In a dashboard data grid, when the content of a value in a column is too wide to be displayed in
the column, the default behavior is to truncate the content in a way that indicates that there is
more content than is displayed. You can modify this behavior by using the Wrap Column Value
option. When set to true, Wrap Column Value forces the content to be fully displayed, by
expanding the row height to fit the content.
Cloudera support
Cloudera support has been updated to version 6.2. Cloudera version 6.1 is no longer supported.
Application session tracking
The server configuration has been changed so that it now uses only cookies for session tracking.
This means that the session ID is no longer required for tracking, and is not exposed
unnecessarily.
Analysis rollback and retention
In Data3Sixty DQ+, some data stages can set their own retention periods, which define the length
of time that data is stored in those data stages.
For an analysis, the retention period is defined by the default retention values of the environment,
and the retention values of the Data Store Outputs of the analysis.
Multiple Value Conformity ranges
When applying a value conformity rule as part of an analysis, you can now specify multiple ranges
to check data values against. For example, you might want to verify that a value lies in one of the
ranges 1-10, 31-40, and 51-60. If a data set value falls within any of the specified ranges, a True
value is returned. If a data set value falls outside of the specified ranges, a False value is returned.
Process Models
When a child Process Model outputs a variable in the End Event node, that variable can now be
picked by the parent Process Model as an output of the Execute Process Task. You can use this
function to test the value of an output variable from a child Process Model and choose whether to
continue or end the Parent Model, depending on the value returned.
Exporting Data
When you export data as a .csv file or a .xslx file, a new option to export all data is available, and
selected by default. If you attempt to export a large number of rows, a warning is displayed,
depending on the export format:
Export Data - a warning is displayed if the number of rows to be exported is greater than one
million
Export to MS Excel - a warning is displayed if the number of rows to be exported exceeds the
number of rows allowed for Microsoft Excel.
User Interface Enhancements
Scrolling performance has been enhanced in Case Store screens. When viewing items with large
numbers of columns in a Search screen scrolling down through rows is now faster and smoother.
