User Interface Enhancements
Product Rename and Rebrand
The name of the product has changed from Data3Sixty DQ+ to Data360 DQ+. The application text and associated documentation has been changed to use the new product name in place of the old name.
Transformation Builder Enhancements
Array Handling
The way the transformation builder handles arrays has been enhanced in this release. You can now choose whether to copy or ignore an array, or explode the contents, choosing whether or not to include or exclude null values, by using the new Explode Outer and Pos Explode Outer options.
Support Layouts
The transformation builder now supports the following data store layout types:
- Avro
- JSON
- ORC
- Parquet
- XML
Kerberos Support for Kafka Data Stores
Support has been added for authenticating by using Kerberos when using a Kafka data store.
Kerberos KeyTab Support for HIVE Database Data Stores
If the database type of an external data store is HIVE, you can now authenticate by using a Kerberos keytab as well as username and password authentication.
You will need to provide a value for the Principal Name and Keytab File Name when configuring the Database Channel properties.
Dashboards
Custom Pivot Measures
Custom pivot measures are no longer available when defining thresholds.
Threshold font options
If you are adding a threshold to a table, you can use the Font tab to configure the appearance of cells that violate threshold rules. Values that you specify override any existing values configured for the table, dashlet and dashboard. You can set a Font Style, Font Weight and Font Color.
Enhanced threshold highlighting
For expression threshold rules and single point threshold rules it is now possible to highlight additional columns in data grids and pivot grids.
If you are applying a single point threshold to a table, a cell in the row that contains a data point that violates the threshold is highlighted. You can use the new Highlight all columns property to choose whether to highlight the cells in all of the other columns for the corresponding row. If Highlight all columns is set to False, you can select individual columns to highlight.
Execution of streaming analysis
Execution of an analysis that contains streaming nodes is now supported, with the following differences from batch analysis execution:
- A streaming analysis runs until it is terminated or fails.
- Running and rebuilding differ in behavior between batch and stream analysis. There is no concept of ref time (cycles) for a streaming analysis. Instead, rebuilding a streaming analysis cleans out the checkpoint directory before kicking off a run.
- Rerun is not supported for streaming analysis.
- Rollback is supported for streaming analysis, but in most cases it is not applicable, because rerun is not supported.
Other Changes
- Performance when deleting data store data in process models has been improved.
- Performance of retention processing for S3 databases has been improved.
- The default display justification for numeric values in Case Store search result screens is now right-justified.
- The maximum allowed length of a portal host name has been increased from 255 to 10000.
