In this article, we'll be going over how to use version control to revert changes made in Assure. Note: This feature is only available in Assure 9.0 & higher.
1) Select the item you wish to revert. In the bottom right-hand corner, go to More->Manage Versions.
2) In the window that pops up, you will see all previous versions of the item. Clock on the version you want to revert to, then select "Action" in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Revert to Version". You can use the "View Audit Entry" to see what changes were made, and can also export specific versions to import as well. Once you've done everything, select "Close".
You have now successfully reverted an item to a previous version.
NOTE: There is an extra step where an item will be updated in the bottom window pane, but not in the list (see below screenshot). In order to resolve this, you will need to make a small change (such as a entering a space and then deleting it) and then Save the item. It will then update properly.
This extra step will be removed in a future update.
