This article details how to enable DEBUG logging as it relates to the Quartz scheduler packages, redirecting this logging to a separate quartz
log.
Performing this action is a troubleshooting step to allow a more comprehensive picture through the internal debug logging of the quartz framework.
Follow instructions for enabling debug logging outlined in article: Enabling Debug Logging
1 ) After clicking New category outlined on step 3 of enabling debug logging
2 ) Edit 2 categories as follows :
com.unitechsys.iitap.component.scheduler.export.job.QuartzCalendarJob
com.unitechsys.iitap.component.scheduler.quartz
Please note, in the screenshot above, an extra "Log Outputs" category was created, and enabled. This allows us to write the quartz DEBUG output to a unique log for ease of viewing. To create the new output, simply click on "Manage Log Outputs" located on the bottom right corner of the screen and create a new log titled quartz.
Note that the "File Path" will require an update to reflect the new log's naming convention. Once this new log output has been created, it will now be a selectable option for the category ( "quartz" option below ).
3 ) Click Save
4 ) Perform the necessary testing with the increased report logging & debug setting enabled.
5 ) Once testing is completed and Infogix Support has the new log files, it is recommended to click the "Restore Default Configuration" button to revert the changes. This will prevent the logs from having excess details after testing has completed.
