User interface redesign
To simplify navigation, the menu options that were previously available from the top left corner menu are now available as menu items across the top of the screen.
Streaming analysis nodes
The following two new streaming nodes have been added:
- Streaming Placeholder Input node - Creates placeholder fields to use as a streaming input to
an analysis. For more information, see the "Streaming Placeholder Input" topic in the help. - Streaming Placeholder Output node - Creates placeholder fields to use as streaming output to
an analysis. For more information, see the "Streaming Placeholder Output" topic in the help.
Anomaly detection
The following two new Analysis nodes have been added to allow you to identify anomalies in a
data set:
- Analytics Anomaly node
- Data Quality Anomaly check node
Both nodes use an isolation forest algorithm to detect anomalies in a data set. Each record is given an "anomaly score" and is labeled as an anomaly if the record's score is above a calculated threshold.
Uniqueness check
A new Uniqueness Check node has been added to the Data Quality category in Analysis to allow you to identify unique records in a data set. You can check for identical values, or you can write an expression that allows tolerance based matching for numeric fields, or one that is based on fuzzy matching for string fields.
Case Management
System-provided analysis
You now have the option to select a system-provided analysis to automate the process of creating or updating cases. The system-provided analysis can be used in most situations, however, you still also have the option to specify a custom analysis if required.
Export case data
To allow greater flexibility when managing cases, you can now export case results and record results to Microsoft Excel or CSV.
Reassign cases
From the case store search screen, you can now reassign a case that is assigned to you to another user, provided that the case is in a state that allows assignments. This can be useful if a case has been assigned to you in error, or if a case is not relevant to you and you want to reassign it to another user.
Search screen filters
The usability of the case store search screen has been improved to enable you to more easily filter the list of cases when searching for specific ones. An Add Filter token allows you to easily select the field on which you want to base the filter and to specify the filter criteria.
A new Required setting has been added to the search screen definition page to enable the case store builder to specify that a field should always be displayed.
Download execution log
When viewing executions for a data stage or an environment, there is now an option to download the log information for a selected execution. This allows you to analyze the execution details in greater detail outside of the application.
Schedule settings
When defining scheduling settings, you now have the option to use cron expressions. This provides greater flexibility, allowing multiple schedules on a stage.
Text alignment setting
A new Text Alignment setting has been added to the data view Dimensions field configuration page and to the case store search Screens configuration page. This allows you to specify how the text should be aligned in grid and pivot dashlets, and in the case store search screen.
Match email function
A new EMAILMATCH function has been added which you can use when building expressions to identify similar email addresses. The function compares email addresses and returns a similarity score between 0 and 1, where 1 indicates a perfect match.
Silent AWS/Azure installation
Silent installation of the AWS and Azure infrastructure is now supported for cloud editions of the product. Administrators can run a silent (unattended) installation to silently install, upgrade or uninstall the infrastructure on user machines, applying predefined settings, without the need for user interaction.
