What’s New?
This release of Data360 DQ+ contains updates to connecting to Snowflake as a data source, external encryption integrations, streaming Kafka message types, and other enhancements. Make sure you check out your UAT environment to see the changes prior to Production.
Capture data from Snowflake database
Snowflake is an out-of-the-box supported database type that can be used as a data source. Users can easily setup a Snowflake data store to capture or push data too using Data360 DQ+.
A tokenization option has been added to data stores, case stores and data views
Tokenization functionality is now available for data store fields, case store fields, and data view dimensions. This allows for tighter data security integration for customers who have enterprise encryption platforms that want to be able to detokenize sensitive data. Tokenized fields are supported when the deployment has integration with a tokenization provider enabled, which include Protegrity and SecuPi.
Support for XML has been added to Kafka messages in the UI
A new XML layout type has been added to a Kafka channel. The transformation builder can also create the schema from a file, in a similar way to Avro. This provides greater flexibility in the type of Kafka message which can be captured and have data quality validations against it.
Other Enhancements
There are several important enhancements included in this release:
- Administrators can now use a "Filter" to search Users within the system
- The ability to export a data store's profile metrics data in Microsoft Excel Open XML (XLSX)
format has been added. - Customize background color of both rows and columns within a dashboard.
