In Govern, the format in which Date fields are displayed is dictated by the display language configured for your browser, as described in the Date Display in Govern KB article.
For example, viewing an asset's change log would display the following when language in Chrome is set to English
and the following when set to English (United Kingom):
In Govern, Datetime values are stored as UTC. The display of the value of a Datetime field is dependent on your computer's locale - as configured in 'Settings' -> 'Date & Time' -> 'Time zone'.
Note: You may need to turn off the 'Set the time zone automatically' to allow you to manually configure the 'Time zone' setting.
For example, changing the timezone from UK time (UTC + 00:00) to New Zealand time (UTC + 12:00)
will have the effect of changing the displayed datetimes from:
to:
Note that in the displayed New Zealand datetime value both the date and time components have been changed to reflect the corresponding local values of the UTC datetime value.
