If a user is getting the error message as Required Feature: "LibrarySharing" not present in license and unable to login to LAE server.
Please go through all the listed scenarios to resolve the issue.
If the situation is a self-contained Desktop LAE installation, is the local LAE Server started?
Depending on the options selected when the application was installed, the user may have an icon in the Lavastorm program group on the Windows Start menu:
When the LAE Server is started there is a green circle displayed in the hidden icons area of the taskbar:
Occasionally, the LAE Server stops or does not start when the BRE is started up (this can occur more frequently if the machine is slow/overloaded). If the circle is amber this indicates the LAE Server has stopped. You should then be able to right-click on the icon and open the console to restart the LAE Server.
BRE's connection status to a LAE Server is displayed at the bottom center of the BRE UI:
What is shown in BRE's log panel?
Select the BRE window and then press F8. This will display the messages, e.g. similar to the following:
Select all of the messages in the panel (scrolling up/down if necessary), use Ctrl+C to copy the selected messages, paste them into a text file and sent the file to us.
If the situation is a BRE client connecting to a remote LAE Server, does this only affect a single user?
Please send us the BRE log files (see above for instructions).
Has the user attempted to import a BRS file?
If so, does the Server drop-down in the BRE UI show the correct remote LAE server or does it show '**Recovered**'
If this is the case, select the correct LAE Server from the drop-down list.
