Upgrade to version 3.1.5 Dataverse
Good morning community,
I'll explain the problem. I have an environment with Dataverse Server version 3.1.4 running correctly. The problem comes when I try to upgrade to version 3.1.5 and it's impossible for me. At the beginning of this update, the first window of the wizard detects that there is already a version installed and gives you the option to update or perform an installation from 0. Choose whichever one you choose I get an error that says I must have the "Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013"installed on my computer. Said software is installed because if it could not have version 3.1.4. I have tested both the installation by update and from 0, removed that package and reinstalled and re-installed and tested again with Dataverse and nothing. What could be the cause?
Thank you very much.
A greeting.

Hi, it appears that there is an issue with the Dataverse 3.1.5 software installer.
The installer is (incorrectly) looking for the C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2010 software rather than the 2013 version - hence the error you are seeing.
The C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 is required for the correct operation of Dataverse but, in order for the software to install, you will also need to have the C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2010 software installed on the Windows 2012 R2 Server.
You can download the 2010 version of the software from here:

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.
This issue is fixed in the next release of Dataverse (3.1.6)
Regards,
Adrian
