    Is this a Desktop instance or Server?

    The application periodically creates a system backup. These back ups are stored as .lxp files within the application's 'site' directory. However, the backups are only created if the system is running at the time the backup is configured to start. 

    See the following topic regarding the configuration of the backup settings, which provides details of the configuration properties that indicate the location of any backup files that have been created.

    You can use the Analyze software installer to restore from a backup (.lxp) file (see the desktop/server installation guide). Note that the installer version needs to be the same as the version being used when the backup file was created (i.e. the previous version of Analyze in the case where you were attempting to upgrade but did not successfully complete the upgrade process)
