Displaying the view tab in case screen upon clicking of any record in the case

    Hi Team,

    Please find below screenshot for your reference.

    The above screenshot highlights 2 things, a record in search screen of case store and the "View" button.

    Currently to go inside the View tab, we need to click on the row/record highlighted and then click on the View button. Instead, can we have the possibility to double click on the record and proceed to the View tab. It can also be a right click on the row which provides us with option of View, Edit, etc.

    This is great feedback Abhijith.  The current behavior is when a record is selected and a user "double clicks", any editable fields then become editable.  Having quick access the view from the results table is a good enhancement and I have submitted it. 

    Question:
    - Do users ever use the inline editing feature when selecting the row?

    - Would having the option to add a column with a selectable value/icon to display the "View" option be an acceptable approach?

    Hi Jeff,

    Currently, we are not having any editable fields in case screen. However, in future, there are chances that the client might have this as a requirement.

    Also, had a check with Nordea and they are fine with the 2nd option that you have suggested, which would be to have a column populated with an icon against each row and when clicked on the icon, proceed to the View screen. Please let us know when this feature would be available and on which version of DQ+ will this feature be introduced.
